VidCon is going global in 2017, making stops in Melbourne and Amsterdam

Vidcon 2017 is coming soon

Are you a YouTube fan? Well the majority of the internet is as YouTube is the #2 most visited website in the world. After parent Google, of course.

Big news was released today by the organizers of VidoCon, the world wide digital video conference, held in Anaheim, CA. However, the conference has become so big and global with the community of creators growing everyday! Thus, the organizers just announced that VidCon is going global. Making stops in making its Australian debut in Melbourne September 9-10, 2017. And the European debut of VidCon will be held in Amsterdam during April 8-9, 2017.
VidCon was started by the Green brothers a.k.a the Vlogbrothers on YouTube. Hank Green has this to say about VidCon going global:
“The growth of online video, and the ability for creators like myself to have such enjoyable careers, is due to a passionate and engaged community that is truly global. We are excited that we can bring the VidCon experience to Europe and Australia, where the fan and creator communities are so strong and truly thriving.”
This statement and announcement was made prior to the seventh annual VidCon in Anaheim, CA this year.
