Google introduces new Motion Stills application to make your Live Photos shareable

Are you tired of Apple's Live Photos, the small stills of motion that are caught along with your normal pictures. The Live Photos, are not shareable on social media and are clearly too blurry.

Google has produced an app named Motion Stills, this application is only available on iPhones capable of taking Live Photos. It works to stabilize your Live Photos by having their background frozen, this allows only the motion in the center of image to be captured. The app is also capable of turning the Live Photos into GIF's, this actually is a really nice move by Google. As a GIF is a lot more easier to share on social media.
Examples from Google can be seen below, Live Photos then the Motion Stills' effect:

So How does it work when it comes to the background engineering of the app, Google's announcement included the following statement:
We pioneered this technology by stabilizing hundreds of millions of videos and creating GIF animations from photo bursts. Our algorithm uses linear programmingto compute a virtual camera path that is optimized to recast videos and bursts as if they were filmed using stabilization equipment, yielding a still background or creating cinematic pans to remove shakiness.
Overall, the application does justice to improve Apple's Live Photos features, enabling users to share their motion images readily.
